Adaptability is at the heart of our success. It has been in our DNA since Marcel Aertssen as a farmer had to make way for the expansion of the Antwerp harbour … and bought his first excavator to help with the expansion of the harbour. It was a matter of adapting or disappearing, of turning setbacks into opportunities.
